Tire Services in Las Vegas, NV

Quality tires are a crucial element of your vehicle’s overall performance. Tires are responsible for connecting your car to the road. High-quality and well-maintained tires are therefore necessary to ensure a smooth and safe drive. It’s no exaggeration to say that the condition of your tires can make the difference between an enjoyably smooth ride and a less-than-pleasant driving experience.

Luckily, if you’re a Las Vegas driver, Tire Works Total Car Care is here for all your tire-related needs.

However, no set of tires lasts forever. Tires can get damaged when they hit bumps in the road—even those that seem minor at the time. The friction between your wheels and the pavement will eventually cause your tires to wear out. Our Vegas tire shop is here for all your tire-related needs.

Our Tire Services

As soon as you notice problems related to your tires, it’s imperative that you schedule tire service at your nearest Tire Works location. Tire maintenance is best left to experts, and the highly qualified teams at our tire shops will know precisely what services your tires need. Choose us for:

Tire Rotation

If your tires haven’t required any maintenance, you might assume that they automatically wear at the same rate—but this isn’t true. Depending on their location on your vehicle, tires may wear faster or slower than those in the other positions. A simple way to get around this problem is by rotating your wheels. We can remove your car’s tires and reinstall them in different locations, following the best tire rotation pattern for your vehicle and tires.

Tire Alignment

Given enough time, your tires may go slightly out of alignment. Even a tiny shift in orientation can affect everything from steering wheel centering to tire wear rates. You won’t need to fix this issue on your own—instead, let the wheel alignment experts at Tire Works precisely adjust your tires and your vehicle’s suspension.

Tire Balancing

All four of your vehicle’s tires should weigh exactly the same, but that isn’t always the case which is why tire balancing is so important. When your tire weight is unevenly distributed, you could notice odd vibrations, abnormal tire wear, and even declining fuel efficiency. Our team is able to weigh your tires and install small weights to bring them into balance once again.

Tire Repair

With the services listed above, you can often avoid the need for a full-fledged repair to get your tires back in shape. That said, this service is sometimes unavoidable. In cases like this, the Tire Works crew is more than ready to take care of your next tire repair.

Go With Our Expert Las Vegas Tire Shop

If you needed to fix important car components like your transmission or engine, you wouldn’t risk taking your vehicle to a subpar mechanic for repair services. In the same way, why bother with untrustworthy shops when your tires need some extra attention? Functional tires are just as crucial as any other component—without them, your car literally wouldn’t be able to move. And that means they deserve the best tire service available in the Las Vegas area.

Across Nevada, people just like you rely on our expert auto repair service for their car maintenance needs—including tire repair and maintenance services. That’s because we offer:

  • Exceptional workmanship. At Tire Works, you can rest assured that your tires are in the best possible hands. That’s not just an empty promise, either. Our technicians are ASE certified, making them some of the most qualified people in the auto repair industry.
  • Unbeatable customer service. If auto repair shops have burned you in the past, it may not be easy to trust another business in the same line of work. Because of that, Tire Works goes above and beyond by providing complimentary quotes, a full selection of maintenance services, and money-saving opportunities for all of our valued customers.
  • Serious convenience. Scheduling auto appointments over the phone may not sound like a hassle but it can be more time-consuming than you’d expect. As an alternative, Tire Works customers can set up their appointments online.

Know When to Look for New Tires

Between tire maintenance, tire repair, and regular self-inspections of your tires, you can stretch the lifespan of your tires much further than they would last otherwise. Of course, that doesn’t mean they’ll stay intact forever. Eventually, you’ll find that your once-new tires have worn to the point where they are no longer safe to use. When that’s the case, no amount of maintenance can make your old tires roadworthy again.

Even if your tires haven’t gotten to this point yet, you should think about replacing them about a decade after you purchased them—after all, older rubber is particularly susceptible to cracking. And while tire repair can usually make your tires as good as new, it can’t undo particularly severe damage. You’ll need to start thinking about tire replacement in these cases.

If you’re a Vegas-area driver and overdue a new set of tires, you may be wondering where you can find tires that suit your vehicle. The good news is that Tire Works also carries a full line of affordable tires. No matter what variety of tires you need, you’ll be able to find them at your neighborhood Las Vegas tire shop!

Good group of guys there and was driven back to work after dropping it off

CHRISTINA J Customer since 2020

First time at this new location near Costco Marketplace, Tucson. I asked to expedite oil change service in order to accommodate another appointment within the hour. They did everything to get me in and out quickly. Thoroughly inspected vehicle and found several additional recommended services from which we prioritized service and follow-up. I did not feel pressured and felt there was a strong customer care ethic in place. Clean and comfortable waiting room. I even think my car came back to me cleaner than when I left it. Very satisfied with service and would return and recommend to others.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tire rotation is important for both your safety and for extending the life of your tires. When tires are changed to new positions on your car or truck, the pattern of wear on each tire also changes by moving friction and torque to different areas of the tires’ tread. Ensuring even tread wear helps improve braking and cornering by keeping traction consistent across all of your tires, and it improves fuel efficiency, too. Taking your vehicle to a tire shop to have your tires rotated also offers the opportunity to have your tires professionally inspected for signs of issues such as bulges, cracks, and punctures.

Brand-new tires should be rotated at around 5,000 miles because their deep tread is more susceptible to wearing unevenly. Older tires should be rotated at regular intervals. We recommend tire rotation be performed at the same time you come in for your regular oil and filter change.

Tire balancing, sometimes referred to as wheel balancing, is done to slow tread wear and maximize your tires’ life. Correcting weight imbalances can solve vibration problems and other issues that hamper overall performance.

We recommend checking the air pressure in your tires at least once a month, since all tires lose air over time. Also check your tire pressure before you take a long drive or when you are going to be towing or hauling a heavy load. It’s best to check your tires when your car or truck has been parked for several hours.

Yes. Tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) are designed to alert you to under-inflation at a certain preset level, but excessive tire wear and decreased fuel efficiency can occur well before that level. Taking a few minutes each month to check your tire pressure is a great way to extend the life of your tires and do a quick check of your tires’ overall condition.

The correct pressure for your tires is recommended by your vehicle’s manufacturer. Look inside the driver’s door for the optimal tire inflation pressure for your car or truck, or check your owner’s manual. If you’re in doubt or have any questions about the right pressure for the type and size of tire you have, our expert tire mechanics can help.

Regularly inspecting your tires and taking care of any issues you find go a long way toward getting the best performance and most mileage out of your tires, and keeping you safe on the road. Take time to look for:

  • Tread depth: Tires with shallow tread are more susceptible to sliding and skidding, and to being damaged. Tread should be a minimum of 2/32” deep, which you can easily check with a penny. Put a US penny into your tires’ built-in tread wear indicators with Lincoln upside down. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, the tire needs to be replaced.
  • Tread wear: If it’s been a long time since you’ve had your tires rotated, balanced, or aligned (or checked for underinflation), your tires may show signs of uneven tread wear. Look for wear that’s worse on one edge than it is on the other or, if you have radial tires, exposed steel.
  • Embedded objects: Tire tread is bound to pick up various objects from the road. Look for small pieces of metal, glass, stone, or other materials that have become wedged in the tread. Catching embedded objects early can prevent them from becoming serious issues later.
  • Damage: A tire may need to be replaced or repaired if you see damage on its side or in the tread. Look for holes, bulges, cuts, splits, and cracks.

At Tire Works, we always have ways to help you save. Check our tire coupons page regularly for great tire deals, plus rebates from top manufacturers, such as Firestone, Goodyear, Yokohama, and others. You can either print out your coupons and bring them to your nearest Tire Works location or simply display it on your phone when you come in to make your purchase. Check back often for great new deals!

Not necessarily, but it depends on the condition of the other three tires. If the other three haven’t lost much tread depth, you may be able to replace just the one worn tire. Note that on all-wheel drive vehicles, many manufacturers recommend replacing all four tires at the same time to ensure that they all spin at the same speed, which can affect when the AWD system engages. Even with front- or rear-wheel drive cars, problems can arise with antilock braking systems if only one tire is replaced. For the best (and safest) results, our tire technicians will inspect all of your tires and recommend the replacement plan that’s right for your vehicle and tires.

The answer depends on several factors, such as:

  • The type of tires and vehicle you have
  • How many miles you put on your vehicle
  • Your driving habits
  • How well you maintained your tires

Generally, you should have your tires inspected by a professional after they’ve been in use for more than five years. Even if the tread still looks good, if you’ve had your tires for 10 years, it’s time to replace them (and your spare). Book an appointment at your nearest Tire Works location, where our Las Vegas mechanics can inspect your tires and offer guidance on whether you need new tires.

There are a number of things you can do to make your tires last as long as possible, including:

  • Checking your tires at least once a month to ensure proper inflation
  • Regularly inspecting your tires for damage, wear, or objects caught in the tread
  • Staying below the maximum load capacity of your tires to avoid excessive heating
  • Paying attention to your driving habits—don’t speed; avoid hard braking and cornering; avoid fast starts; and try not to drive over potholes and debris if at all possible
  • Take your vehicle to a professional for tire rotation and balancing at regular intervals, or if you’ve noticed cracks, bulges, splits, or other signs of damage

Whether you need flat tire repair, tire rotation, wheel balancing, or any other tire services, Tire Works has what you need! We have manufacturer-trained tire experts at every location, and when you need brand-new tires, we offer major tire brands at prices you can afford.

Spare tires are often ignored until they’re needed, but when you do need yours, its condition can make the difference between getting where you’re going and being stuck by the side of the road. Since a spare tire gets very little use, it should last many years, but like all rubber products, the material will gradually degrade over time.

You can do the same type of check on your spare tire as you can on your regular tires by looking for indications of tread wear. If you use a regular-sized tire as your spare, talk to your mechanic about replacing it at the same time you replace your primary tires.
